## The dataset

ECHO's download is free at the EPA. What is sold is the normalization and the identifier index.

### What is added

- **Every identifier resolved** — 3,667,814 program identifiers (EPA ID, NPDES, air, drinking water,
TRI, greenhouse gas) mapped to their facility, where ECHO stores them as space-separated lists.
- **Duplicates resolved** — 52,297 repeated registry rows merged, keeping the most
complete.
- **NAICS labels attached** — ECHO publishes codes only.

Delivered as CSV or Parquet, with a data dictionary. Ask on [the Pro page](/pro.md).
